What American Accent Do You Have?
My friend, Tonni, did this on her blog and they nailed her! So, I thought I'd try it and sure enough...they got me too. Try it yourself but if you do, make sure you leave me a comment and tell me if they've got you pegged and what label they gave you!

I took it. Yes, I, "least likely to take a quiz" did.Came out Midland or a large southern city. Must be all those years teaching phonics.

Yep, it got me. "Inland North" (where I was born and lived until I was six years old). I think there's a linguistics dissertation somewhere in this story -- that someone can move across the continent, maturing and living in "The West" for many decades, and *still* be identified as an "Inland Northerner"....
