Yesterday, I dragged my Republican husband to Washington High School to see Barack Obama in person. I can't begin to describe the beauty of the diversity present so all I will say is that there was every age, race and economic status represented. I spent most of the 2 1/2 hours of waiting for the appearance just people watching and I must say it felt like a taste of heaven. Here is just a little clip from last night.

I'm jealous! By the time I got the kids out of their pajamas and reached the offices, all the tickets were gone. I'm glad you had a good time!

Color me jealous. I knew he was coming, but had no idea it would be so soon. I would have totally been there if I could have.
That could have been Tim describing dragging me to the Bruce Springsteen concert! Including the piece of heaven part!I was laughing when I got your pics cause the people behind us at the concert had Obama tees on and "Barack's how I roll!" T shirt.
