Why else would they make their cookie season during the month of January when fat, chubby, or simply fluffy people are trying desperately to lose weight? What fresh hell is this?

Because the ThinMints melt when it's warmer outside. Besides, who ever REALLY sticks to those silly New Years Resolutions anyway? Like 19th century British Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli once said, "Life's too short to be small!" :-)
