Quote

"One of the worst things about being a parent, for me, is the self-discovery, the being face to face with one's secret insanity and brokenness and rage."

"Vision is the art of seeing the invisable"... I love this quote so much that I have it etched on my wall at work. I knew this girl once, in high school, it's vague to me how I met her but I remember that she was so full of energy and smiles...even when she didn't feel like smiling. Funny thing is, she was charming and at the same time, starved for affection. This combination made for a great friend to rely on. I didn't know it at the time, or maybe I did, but she was my best friend. We shared so much in a relatively short period of time. Probably now, both regreting having shared so much yet, a comfort knowing that there's someone out there that loves you just the same.
She's a raving creative suburban housewife now, don't talk much with her but I'm always thinking of her and smiling. She taught me that universal language that is probably the most contageous. Amazing how she continually teaches me things, even to this day.
